Atlas Medical Billing is a small, family-owned medical billing service that initially started out as Data Dimensions back in 1989.  All of our new business has come by referral from our existing providers.  Our current clients consist of primary care providers, hospitalists, plastic & reconstructive surgeons, osteopathic & manipulative physicians, specialty physicians and mental/behavioral health therapists.  We consider ourselves an extension of your office and a part of your healthcare team.

 

Our office is HIPAA compliant to ensure our clients’ patients’ insurance is safe, secure and confidential.  We continuously remain up-to-date on all billing guidelines and changes to ensure your claims are paid accurately and in a timely manner.

 

Virtually 100% of primary insurance claims are filed electronically to ensure that our providers receive the fastest reimbursement.  We take every measure possible to make sure that all claims are submitted accurately the first time. In fact, the claims clearinghouse we partner with reports that we are one of the top submitters with the highest percentages of correct/clean claims.

 

Our company utilizes an intuitive, cloud-based platform.  The system is backed up daily and the backup media is stored off-site to protect your data.  Our billing software uses all relational database structures and provides all the standard accounts receivable reporting required in today’s business climate.  Reports can be delivered on hard-copy or as PDF files.   Our database structure lends itself for easy downloading into Excel format or industry standard CSV files for importing into other applications.  Ad-hoc or custom reports can be generated using various query tools available on our system.  A state-of-the-art document imaging system is also tightly coupled with our billing software that allows us to view 100% of the source documents, claims filed, patient statements, along with any supporting documents on-line.
